Llandudno Community Radio Ltd is a charitable company limited by guarantee, incorporated on June 1st 2005 and registered as a charity on 4th November 2005. After being granted a full broadcasting licence from Ofcom the station went on air in 2008 having been given the frequency of 107.8 FM. Since those early days the Station has received tremendous help from its supporters. The main supporters of the Station over the years have been Welsh Assembly Government, National Lottery, Conwy County Borough Council, Cartrefi Conwy and Llandudno Town Council as well as other grant holders and agencies as well as individual supporters and of course the tremendous group of volunteers who have served the station over the past seven years. The station is managed by a Board of Trustees and is now totally volunteer led.

The Station has maintained its links with the local community and its outside broadcast coverage has included Bay of Colwyn Prom Day, North Wales Choral Festival, Deganwy Prom Day, Conwy Sports Awards, Glamorgan Annual Cricket Festival at Rhos on Sea, Wales Under 20 Rugby Internationals and Music Events at Parc Eirias, Wales Rally GB and Tour of Britain Cycle Event
