ONLY THE WEATHER CAN STOP LANCASHIRE NOW!

At the end of the third day of the LV County Championship Division 2 game at Rhos on Sea it seems that only rain tomorrow can stop Lancashire extending their lead at the top of the table. Glamorgan took their overnight score of 165/6 to 348 all out. The highlight of this morning was a rapid and entertaining 57 from Australian Michael Hogan – his highest score ever in first class cricket. It was no surprise when Lancashire enforced the follow on. Glamorgan struggled against some accurate bowling and by the close of play Glamorgan had moved onto 146-5 after 49 overs.
Tomorrow is the final day and barring a miracle or bad weather Lancashire should wrap up victory.
