TUDNO GET THRASHED AT HOME!

Saturday evening saw me at Maesdu Park where Llandudno FC lost 5-0 at home to Welsh Premier League Champions The New Saints. Goals from Adrian Cieslewicz, Chris Seargeant(2), Scott Quigley and the impressive Ryan Brobbel made it a stroll for the Champs against a lack lustre Tudno team who failed to show their usual spirit. The Match Programme was full of colour but mainly consisted of photos and adverts and precious little information on the visitors. Finally I wish Adrian Cieslewicz a speedy recovery from the nasty head injury he suffered.
The FA Cup Preliminary Round saw Colwyn Bay gain a tremendous 1-0 win at Shaw Lane thanks to a Gary Burnett goal.
In the Huws Gray Alliance League Conwy Borough got hammered again as they lost 6-1 at Prestatyn to make it 11 goals conceded in 2 games. Lee Davey scored for Borough.
In Welsh Alliance League Division 1 I watched Glan Conwy lose 4-1 at home to Penrhyndeudraeth . Cory Young scored for Glan who were clearly second best on the day. A Lee Ellis wasnt enough to save Llandudno Junction as they went down 2-1 at title hopefuls Llangefni Town. Abergele beat Llanberis with goals from Ash Wood, Keiron Ellis and Jack Lloyd Williams.
In the Welsh Cup a Matt Lowndes goal plus an og gave Mochdre Sports a 2-1 win at Amlwch Town. Llanfairfechan lost 3-2 at Gaerwen whilst a Daz Evans brace gave Penmaenmawr Phoenix a 4-1 win at Llanrwst. Llandudno Albion won 7-1 against Llanfairpwll with a hat trick from Duncan Midgeley, two from Mark Montgomery plus one a piece for Allan Davies and Ricky Jones.
